Hello everyone, I am new to this message board, I am trying to find a board who is pretty understanding, and you ladies seem to fit that. I have one child, he i 2.5 years old, His name is Caleb, and he is my world, I have PCOS so I was told by a RE that I would likley never have children, we had gave up on having children and my sis was going to be our surrogate the month I found out that I was pregnant with him, so of course he is extremley spoiled little one because he is my miracle baby. We have been trying again since about December 07, I actually got pregnant in february, however we had a misscarriage within two weeks of finding out. So we are still trying, my insurance does not cover infertility, so we are trying to do it without the meds. I recently had a checkup wih my ob/gyn and she kept asking me while preforming the checkup if I had cervical surgery, (i haven't) I told her i had not, and she went on to say that my cervix was short, and that my next pregnancy I would need to be monitored frequently, I have read anything I can find on this, which is kinda scary, she seems to think I may have damaged my cervix during labor, (I only dilated to a 9, and they manually stretched my cervix to a 10), sorry for all of this info just wondering if anyone knows anything about this? Look forward to getting to know all of you ladies.
Vicki

I'm Stephanie (28) wife to Matt (25) and mom to Sierra (10) and Will (7). My older two are actually from my first marriage, and DH and I have gotten pregnant 5 times and had early losses all 5 times. We've been TTC since March of 2006. I most likely have PCOS, and will be having that confirmed sometime soon. We recently started getting medical assistance and are starting the process for IUI which will likely happen in September or October.
Our insurance doesn't cover infertility either, so we know going in that most of the cost is coming out of our pockets. I look forward to getting to know you better. Jump right in replying to topics and start one of your own anytime!

I'm a SAHM to a 5 year old girl and 2 year old boy. Both were conceived while TTA and now that we're trying for our first together (DH is their step-dad) we're hitting a road block. We don't have an RE yet though. I've heard that pushing before full dialation can cause damage, but don't really know much about it. Sorry.
