I hate this! So if you didn't read my post on the "fertility charting" board I'll bring you up to speed... I decided to use my pregnancy tests before they expire (next month) well I figure what's the fun in taking them if you KNOW you're not pregnant so I took it early 8DPO - definite negative.

So today I get up and say ok I'll take the last one (10 DPO) and I do the dip set it down clean my bathroom up a bit and look and OMG there is a VERY faint second line. VERY FAINT. I started thinking NO way.. just no way. It's gotta be invalid or something. So I decided now I have to know for sure so I go around town and gather up as many pregnancy tests as I can (you should have seen the looks I got at dollar tree when I had a child in one had and the other hand was loaded down in pregnancy tests, got that same look from the Wal-Mart cashier lmao). Get home and pee in my cup, do the dollar tree test and I also dipped one of the equate tests... so I sit them down and go away for about 2 minutes. GO back and the dollar tree test is neg, so I start to toss all the stuff out and I grab the equate one and I stopped before I put it in the trash and by golly if there wasn't ANOTHER FAINT positive... So what the heck? I read BOTH tests within the 10 minute rule and now I'm wondering.. are they positive even though they are soo faint? What's the chance BOTH tests are invalid? Am I going crazy? You can clearly see it but the line is not nearly as dark as the other line, but you can hold it out 2 ft away without squinting and see that there IS a 2nd line! I've NEVER had a pregnancy test show the 2nd line if I wasn't pregnant, EVER! My 8DPO test does not have any 2nd line at all, not even if you hold it under a light, squint your eyes and imagine it LOL! I guess I'll just wait another day and take another test... ey yi yi!
The other thing I wonder is I did NOT use 1st morning pee as recommended so maybe that's why it's a faint line? Or maybe I'm just seeing things and I'm not pregnant at all... ahhhh! REGRET TESTING AT ALL!! REMIND ME NEVER TO POAS AGAIN!!

UPDATE: Took another test this morning, of course again I did not use 1st morning pee (used 2nd though, does that count? lol). And.... I'm not sure. The line was still very faint. Maybe I'm just seeing things, maybe it's just the way the test is.. who knows. I used an equate and a dollar tree one and I can see just the faintest line today on the dollar tree one but then again I'm worried my mind is just playing tricks on me. In all honestly I'm going to say I'm NOT pregnant... either the lines will get darker and I can say yes I am pregnant or Af will show... but for now I think it's a BFN... have a look for yourself...

Your chart looks excellent. Nice and toasty as it should be and at 10 DPO it is possible to get a very faint BFP. I'm assuming you have some tests left so try another in the morning with FMU and see how it looks.

I wanna see pictures! And just so you know, my last BFP, I got it at 9 dpo. If you still have a few tests, I'd say test again in the AM, and if you can, try to limit what you drink, and hold your urine for as long as you can. If you can hold it for 3 - 4 hours (with no intake, or limited intake) it's about the same as FMU.

Your chart looks good. I hope this is it for you. OH, and FYI.....you can use tests past the expiration date, and they are still accurate in most cases as long as you read them within the time limit.

that sure looks like a bfp to me, mine looked just like that when I found out i was pregnant with ds, the dollar tree tests sometimes don't show bfp for a couple days, they say that they start working from 5 days past af on, so I really think you are, congrats, so happy for you.

I'm new here but they all look like bfp's to me...you don't even need to squint! Fingers crossed for you! KUP
