I've decided to have a contest for the month of September to try and get the board moving a bit more. It's going to be a posting contest. At the end of the month I will send a prize out to the person with the most points. Here's how it's going to work.

For each new topic you post, you get 3 points. For each topic you reply to you get 1 point. During the month I will come up with certain challenges (one or two a week) and the first person to complete the challenge will get an extra 5 points. I'll keep a running total of the points and will occasionally post the point totals so everyone knows where they stand.

Now have fun, invite others, and POST THE MOST!

A POST WILL BE MADE AT MIDNIGHT (central) ON SUNDAY, AUG. 31ST ANNOUNCING THE BEGINNING OF THE CONTEST. NO POSTS MADE BEFORE THAT ANNOUNCEMENT WILL COUNT. (A REPLY POSTED AFTER THAT ANNOUNCEMENT WILL BE COUNTED THOUGH)
ANOTHER POST WILL BE MADE AT MIDNIGHT (central) ON THE 30TH ANNOUNCING THE END OF THE CONTEST. NO POSTS MADE AFTER THAT ANNOUNCEMENT WILL BE COUNTED.
WINNER WILL BE ANNOUNCED BY FRIDAY, OCTOBER 3, 2008

I will be posting this on the games and challenges board and asking other hosts to pass the information on to other's who suffer from secondary infertility as well. The goal of this contest is to bring in new board members and to get our board moving more quickly. Please spread the word and invite others!

This sounds great. I'm not sure if I qualify as secondary inf. since it took awhile to get pg with DD (2 and a half years) but we did it naturally. We have been trying for 14 months so far with nothing. Can I play?

Definitely! I got pregnant with my DS naturally too, but it took right at two years. Now I've been trying for 2.5 years and just now getting some medical assistance. Welcome to our group!

Sounds great to me. I am taking a bit of time off ttc after this cycle for the whole knee surgery thing( i decided to compromise and finish out this cycle as planned and stop for a while after that) , but I will still be in here chatting with you ladies.
