Do you have someone to watch your kids when you are sick?

Usually I take care of them myself if I'm sick. If I do happen to get really bad my MIL or SIL will be here within 20 minutes. If I wake up really sick my DH just stays home to pamper me and take care of the kids.

No, DH will take the day off if i'm really sick ( I get bronchitis 2x a year) if my mom or sis are off they will take her but my mom works all year now and my sis only has the summer off. I have asthma so I get sick usually in the winter. I found this stuff called Zicam and it works amazing, it's OTC and you start taking it when you are just starting to feel sick and it helps it go away fast, I also don't get as sick. I swear by this, I haven't gotten really sick in awhile cause I use it. Next time DD gets sick I am gonna start taking it before I get sick to see if it helps.

I don't either. The only time that has ever happened was when I was pregnant with DS and had to be on bed rest, so my parents and my ex's parents took care of DD for three weeks.

I take care of them myself. DH will help if he's home (if I'm fortunate enough to get sick on a weekend, LOL). Once I had pneumonia (my kids were 5 & 3)...DH just told me "don't do anything, just stay in bed.." oh yeah, sure!

Right now, the kids are really good at taking care of themselves (and me) when I'm sick. My older son would get me anything I need and even make me tea when I'm not feeling well.

Only my mother in law, but she will be 70 in december, so I worry that he is too much for her to handle for very long, I am hoping that I will be able to get around and chase him after my knee surgery, or dh will have to take sometime off.

If I'm really sick he'll go to the sitter's across the street, or DH will stay home
