OM goodness I love that little girl so much but she had a really rough day. I'm not so sure why, I guess cause she's getting to the terrible two's. She threw a ton of fits today, usually they blow over real fast once she realizes she's not gonna get her way but today they dragged on and on and there would be like 2 or 3 in a row. She was hitting too but she didn't start that till her dad went out he had a work bbq so I think she was upset cause she was his girl all day. I knew she was in a mood so I tried to keep her preoccupied all day but there is only so much I can do. She had 2 baths today, painted, went to the store, watched her fav show twice. She ate a great lunch but then wouldn't eat anything for dinner. So I gave her cheerios which she will usually eat as a backup. Well she threw them all over the floor so I took the vaccum out to clean (she's scared of it but usually just goes and sits on the couch) she nearly lost her mind she was in the other room on the couch and screaming crying no mama no clean All done. I put her to bed a little early tonight and she fell asleep so fast. She really wore herself out today. She went to the dr's the other day cause she has had a runny nose on and off for awhile the dr justs thinks it's a cold but I think its allergies but they don't give claritin until they are 2. I hope tomorrow's better. Thanks for letting me vent!

What do you guys do when they are having a day like this? I feel so bad she spent a good part of the day crying about one thing or another. When she wasn't crying she was smiling and laughing, but still it makes me feel bad.

Honestly, I just grin and bear it. Then, at the end of the day, when the kids are finally in bed I takl a nice long relaxing bath and read a good book! It doesn't change anything about the day itself, but it sure makes me feel better!

Are those molars coming in? Nolan is 23 months and just went through three really bad days last week exactly like that---I gave him tylenol and motrin for bed and as needed for day. I was told by another mom that when toddlers are pushing through molars, its like having a constant migraine until they come out--not sure how to test that theory, but I'm sure they hurt awful! After his three days, the next morning he woke up and has been fine since then, only three more 2nd molars to go!!! Good luck. Nolan also gets a runny nose when he's teething. Give her a little snuggle from Nolan!

Awww that's so cute...she would love nolan. (At the playground she tries to hug some of the kids it's so cute). I'll check her mouth. I heard they should have all of their 1st teeth by the time they are 2, is that true? She hasn't been sleeping great lately either which is what happened when she got all of her other teeth.

A bath sounds nice. I'll try that tonight!
