I love that we can discuss things without turning them into a huge debate, so let's please remember that as we answer these.

2. Have you lost any friends or loved ones on 9/11 or during the war on terror since? No thank god! I feel so terrible for all of the people who have.
3. Do you believe the US military should still be in Iraq and Afghanistan? I personally am not really up to date on what's going on I never have been, the whole thing terrifies me. I think it has been long enough and we are losing too many people. I would like them to come home. I support the troops though because from a few I know and some of the things I have seen they believe in why they are there and what they are doing. I think they are so brave. I just hope we don't lose anymore.

Yes, my friend Jimmy works in Manhattan and was walking only a few blocks away, on his way to work. He helped others to safety. My Dad was a dispatcher for a trucking company. He had one guy just across the bridge from Manhattan that heard the explosions, one was in Shanksville, just passing through and saw that plane flying really low, and then heard the crash. Another was an hour outside of DC, so they turned him around and he didn't actually witness anything.

Too many.

3. Do you believe the US military should still be in Iraq and Afghanistan?

NO. I don't think we ever should have been in Iraq to begin with. Afghanistan, yes, we need to finish the job there, but we never should have gone to Iraq to start with. That said....I'll support our troops until the last one comes home. The didn't ask to be there, and shouldn't be punished for something they have no control over.
