Do you remember your first date with DH? Tell us about it!

I started dating dh in high school, and my parents were very strict so we had to be home by 8 so we couldn't go to far from home, so we went to the mall and walked around, he bought me a teddy bear, and then we went out to eat at Wendy's,(my request, I had no clue what a steak house was, I thought wendy's was fancy, I'm from a very small town) and he had a burger and fries, and I had a salad with ranch dressing, and he kept dipping his fries in my salad dressing. When he took me home I almost cried, I didn''t want him to go we got along so well, and he made me laugh, which was not easy at the time, I have major depression and we started dated in one of my lowest points, and he made it better.

We met the summer after my Junior year in hs, at the mall. My parents were pretty strict we weren't allowed to go out alone, my mother was very worried because this was the first boy I met that I didn't know. Anyway, 2 days after we met we got together at the beach with my sister and 2 of his friends...we took a walk and hung out all night....we really didn't talk to anyone else we made out all night (1st time I ever kissed a stranger!!!). right from the beginning our chemistry was crazy and it hasn't gone away!!!

Our first date was in the small town where we met at work. It was Nov 19th, and that night the town lit up its Christmas display. We had dinner, saw the light up, and went to a movie---can't for the life of me remember what movie it was, though. That was Nov 1999

Our first date was actually a week long! lol We met online and in November of 2005 after a lot of planning I decided to drive over 1000 miles to meet him. I had saved up a lot of money for the trip and for spending a week in a hotel. On the way out I lost my wallet and all my money so I had to spend my first night in Iowa with him at his parents house. Thank God it was a cop that found my wallet, so the next day I got it and all my money back. It was the best week of my life (up to that point) and I knew that I was going to spend the rest of my life with him.
