I'm sorry this is happening. Have you talked to your doctor about it?

I have an appointment set up for october 20, but my insurance does not cover infertility, or even the diagnosing of infertility, so not sure how that will work, if she would give me clomid, and met, I would pay out of pocket for the rx gladly, I am just going to pray that she will help me somehow.

My dr diagnosed me as irregular bleeding (I think) any way I told her the situation about the ins and she says that the reason why I am not having regular O's is medical so she bills it that way. I hope they will do that for you!
I price checked and found walmart to be the cheapest for clomid walgreens is $25 which isn't bad but walmart is only $9.00 so that's where I get it...I have heard that some walmarts don't have it. My ins covers the provera so I don't have to pay for that. The opk's cost more than the clomid that's crazy. Good luck, I hope they will help you.
What does the met do?

I am hoping my doctor can bill my issues as medical, instead of infertility, the met (metformin) is for pcos, it is supposed to help make my cycles more normal, clomid by itself does not make me o, met and clomid together do, so I am keeping my fingers crossed that she will help me, thank you for all the information though, it was very helpful. So (lisa) how is your cycle going, I see that you are on day 24, are you waiting to test, or will you test early??

I don't know...I don't even know if I o'd...I am so upset. I called my ob to see if she would order the progesterone (sp?) test to see if I did but she said cause I got +opks I did. My tests were neg for awhile then went to + and back to - but I got a + today so I don't know what to make of it. I think I might have O'd on sat or sun because sat my lower abdomen was sore and achy all day and night. I have never experienced O pain so not sure if that was it. I don't know what else it could have been, it went away the next day. Anyway they told me to wait till Day 31 and test. which is only 8 days away but seems like forever. I am still having hot flashes too, though no where near as bad. I actually posted in ttcma, this is tmi but I felt my panties get wet so I went to the bathroom and wiped and it was really wet (still is, I have to put a pantyliner on) anyway I kinda looked (I'm not the touch it kinda gal) and it was clear and a lil white...so of coarse I googled and got a bunch of links to people saying it's a pregnancy sign (which I know if I was it would be too early)...anyway I'm going crazy...I wouldn't let myself buy any hpt's because I have absolutely NO self control!!!haha

If it's pcos then you should be covered...fingers crossed.

It sure sounds like what you had wa O pain, the few times I have o'd that is pretty much where it hurt, have you read up on the positive opk this late in the cycle, maybe that means something, I will be praying for you girl, it's gotta happen for you soon.
