Because of the recent situation with the hackers and whatnot I did cancel the post the most contest for this month. Instead, Let's do a chatter box contest. Post here as frequently as you want to. At the end of the month I will count all the posts in this thread and whoever has the most posts will get a blinkie.
Tell us about your day, things your kids are doing, something you saw at the store, that stupid comment your DH made.....anything goes.
Ready........

I am really stuffed up (sinus infection), already looking forward to nap time and then AJ and I are going out for some authentic Italian Gelato this afternoon.

They sure do! Sierra is 10 now and it's more like EVERYDAY is misbehaving day! *tears out hair*
I think I'm getting an ear infection and a UTI (totally unrelated and random, I know, but there you have it!)

I think that ear infection may be going around or something, I woke up in the middle of the night last night with my right ear and throat hurting, and it hurts in my ear everytime I swallow now, ick.

Tay is starting to have more of those...everyone keeps saying it's terrible 2's starting early...I don't want to hear it. My sil says just wait till you have 2. I really don't want to hear that. Anytime I complain or tell her a story tayla did she just says and you want to. It makes me feel like I won't be able to handle 2. Which is not true I know it will be hard but I can do it. My daughter is well taken care of always ans she is advanced in her speaking and motor skills. I think alot of that I don't have anything to do with but I most certainly have something to do with it. I have been reading books to her since she was in my tummy. I talk to her constantly, baby and adult talk where I will explain what I am doing and why. As opposed to sil who left her son in his swing for the first year and leaves her daughter on the floor laying by herself all the time. thanks for listening

I hate it when people want to be that way, I have allot of people who want to tell me when to potty train my little one, or how to disipline him, or like your sil try to make me feel like I could not handle two lil ones, then I start to doubt myself. I honestly wish people would keep negative opinions to themselves.

AJ started the terrible 2's around 18 months. I am not pushing the potty training though. He is sorta showing interest but won't sit on the potty very long and I am just not ready for that battle yet.

Sierra was nearly 3 when I got her potty trained. I started much earlier, but she fought me all the way. When I was almost due with Will, she said something about potty training the baby. I told her she couldn't help potty train because she wasn't trained. She starting using the potty the very next day.

AJ pointed to the potty today and said potty and I asked him if he wanted to sit on it and he shook his head yes. He sat there for about 30 seconds and then wanted to go play. He didn't like me capturing him and putting another diaper on him. We have to keep shorts on him or he will take a diaper off himself.
Oh, and I took my 2nd clomid pill tonight!

Tayla's been pt'ing for awhile. She is obsessed with the bathroom (always has been) she wants to go in with everyone. She only goes in with me so she stands outside the door and cries with everyone else. We used to put her on the potty before tubby time starting when she was (just to see what she would do) 6-7 months old and she used to go. She asks to sit on it sometimes now (2x a day) and she will stand up in the tub and say potty get out go and get back in. We don't push her. We ask her sometimes and if you mention it she will want to sit but doesn't always go. We let her dump it out herself she loves that. I help her of coarse. She likes to hear the pee come out and jumps up and turns around to look at it...so cute & gross. Unfortunately, she likes to dump the potty so much she does a lil wants to empty it then a lil more...and so on.

I ended up coming home with 3 or 4 times more than I took to sell! lol It's crazy! I got the most beautiful baby quilt though! I also got this one little stuffed duck bottle holder. You stick the bottle into the duck, and the baby holds onto it's wings to make it easier for them to hold the bottle. I'll post pictures tomorrow or Monday.
My baby afghans didn't sell, but it doesn't break my heart, because in reality, I really wanted to keep them for myself! lol

Were 2 parties too much work? We are thinking of doing that for tayla's birthday. We want to have it at chuck e cheese but the weekends are too crazy (her bdays on a sat...not till jan) so we were thinking of doing a small kid party there (just 5-6 kids) during the week and a family party on sat.
