My May chart has always bugged me. I had CM information in it and I am horrible at judging CM. Especially when we've been BD'ing. I've been debating taking that information out for awhile now because it's probably completely wrong and when I did it moved my O day that cycle from CD 23 to CD 27! That gives me a 9 day LP for that cycle! That changes my LP range from 13-17 days to 9-17 days. Something is definitely not right about that.

I looked at the chart in question, and I think that you did O on CD 23. The other way around doesn't make sense, and doesn't match the rest of your charts!

Don't worry too much about it. I'm really bad at judging CM too (especially post BD). I got too frustrated with charting after only 1 month that I quit, LOL.

Remember that FF is a software not a human. It uses calculations not judgement. Sometimes you need to correct things yourself.

It might have just been an off cycle. IF it starts happening a lot though, then you need to mention it to your doctor.

She's going to look at all of my charts (current included) on the 23rd so we'll see what my OB says. I'm not going to try to correct it just so she sees them unaltered by me. Let her draw her own conclusions and I'll ask about it after she's looked at it. Then maybe I'll correct it for my stats. I seriously stress LESS this way than without charting! Scary, huh?

I've heard so many bad things about FF. I also agree that Ff is wrong and you o'd on cd23 that cycle.

Try charting with Fertility Planner It's based on the Ovusoft charting software and it's free and you can chart online nothing to install on your computer.

Thanks, I'll check it out. I tried out the software that you can get with TCOYF, but couldn't see it. Maybe this one will be better.

ETA: I signed up for their charting stuff and I don't think it's quite right. Last cycle it puts me O'ing on CD 10, pregnant on CD 28, and gave me a 23 day LP. For some reason it completely ignored my OPKs. I'm not sure why it put in the pregnancy symbol. I'll try putting in other charts later, but for last cycle it's safe to say that it's very wrong unless my OPKs were conspiring against me.

ETA2: I got the rest of my charts plugged in and it gave me 2 cycles with the pregnancy symbol. That's just rude!

I just signed up for this new fertility thing and they have me 0ing on Oct 2 instead of ff's sept 29th. I don't know...I don't know what to think, if this new site is right I don't think we got it we bd'd on th 29th and 3rd. I am still getting bfn's but either way its too early!

I'd rather not use something trying to tell me that I had 2 chemicals/miscarriages. It automatically corrects and discards temps in an odd fashion as well. Maybe I'm just too used to FF, but it's the one I'll be sticking with. Once I've seen my OB I'll correct May's O date. She's bad at remembering stuff and when you try to correct her she acts like you're trying to trick her somehow. Just as an example, when I talked to her on the phone she said that I told her my longest cycle was 32 days, but it's 39 days and my average is 33 and I remember telling her my range is 29 to 39 days. The number 32 never even came up! I want to show her un-altered charts so she can't try to say that I'm trying to trick her. Sometimes I think she needs to cut back on her patients. Maybe she has too many and she's mixing information up. Not a fun idea, but she's the best I could find in this area so I'm sticking with her.

What about taking out the opks for those 2 cycles and having it recalculate from the 1st day of each cycle.

If it's correct and you o'd on Oct 2nd then bd from the 29th is fine. sperm can live for 5days in a good enviroment.

It completely ignored the OPKs on a couple of cycles and the rest it adjusted my temps so much that I'd call them very inaccurate. I almost always temp at the appropriate time too, so there's no need for the adjustments that software made. I wonder how many women out there think they've had chemicals/miscarriages that haven't because of that software?

Also, sperm only live for 5 days if EVERYTHING is perfect. Acidity levels have to be just right and CM has to be perfectly nutritious. Chances of pregnancy from BD'ing 5 days prior are pretty slim. I'd say you O'd on the 28th or 29th though, Lisa. You don't have many pre-O temps, but you do have a thermal shift and it occurs well before the 2nd.
