We have to go to Des Moines for the day because DH's grandpa is having heart surgery today. Please say a prayer that things go well.

It's also my Dad's birthday so always rough for me. If I don't get back on tonight I'll talk to you ladies tomorrow!

Thanks ladies. We just got home. The surgery went well. He is expected to sleep off the anesthesia tonight and then hopefully they will be removing his breathing tube tomorrow. They were able to do the bypass without actually stopping his heart and using the heart/lung bypass machine. ( I didn't even know they could do that!) They said that he should be home by Sunday or Monday, so we are excited about that too.
