I had a follicle check today. I was all geared up to see that I had no follicles that were maturing. I've heard of a few instances in which women who ovulate on 100mg do not ovulate on 150.

Well, that doesn't seem to be the case for me. My right ovary is my dominant ovary this month. Both ovaries have 6 follicles. On the left side all but one is about 5mm and one is about 8. Nothing impressive.

On the right side; however, there were two that are about 4mm, and then one around 11mm, one around 13mm, one around 14mm, and one at 17mm.

I've never had more than one follicle that was standing out, but the 13 and 14mm are trying to keep up. I hope they stop!! Actually, I told my DH that I wasn't worried about having twins because I know we aren't going to get pregnant this cycle. My luteal phase is too short.

When I was at the OB today, though, I asked them to make sure that my referral was sent over to the RE. Looking forward to hearing back from that and moving on to the next step.

Hope all that made sense!

I went and got my Estradiol bloodwork done today and I got the results. It is 387pg/ml. I found a chart on-line (summarized below). It appears to me that I'm within a few days of ovulating. This is supported by the fact that my most dominant follicle yesterday was 17mm+. I have been having a little bit of pressure on my right side today. I took an OPK...and it is still negative.

*******
From the beginning of your cycle to about 5 days before LH surge, the chart I found indicated that the Estradiol usually falls between 11.7 and 167.2 (pg/ml).
0-4 days from LH surge, Estradiol was found (in their study) to be between 31.8 and 559.1.
1-3 days after LH surge, Estradiol was found to be between 31.5 and 294.0
4-9 days after LH surge, Estradiol was found to be between 58.3 and 342.3
10-15 days after LH surge, Estradiol was found to be between 16.1 and 347.4
