What would you do if you found out you were going to have multiples?

1. Get excited
2. Freak out, LOL
I'd love to have twins (especially girls), but I'm not sure my body can handle them. I'm 38 and I have hip, knee, and back problems, in addition to being hypothyroid and having severe reflux. If I get pregnant with more than one I may have to spend half of my pregnancy in bed. I'd be happy with whatever God chooses for us. The end result will be worth it.
Now, more than 2...that's a different story, LOL.
Still, I trust that God will only give us what we can handle.

I would be so thrilled and just start hunting for a second crib and stuff. We want three more so it'd mean 1 or 2 more pregnancies instead of 3.

DH would have a heart attack! I would be completely in heaven! I would love twins but have thought that my absolute limit (if I have my way) would be triplets (& that's pushing it). I've thought about the far future if I ever had to go to an RE & they start wanting to do things like IVF & I always thought I'd have to tell him that we can do anything that could produce up to triplets but if there was the possiblity of more than 3 I'd have to say no because I won't have an abortion. DH won't talk to me about mulitiples so we'll see what the future holds (he may not be willing to risk having triplets).

I would be happy, would a bit scared, I would be afraid of being able to carry multiples, and then there is always the fear of would we be able to afford them, and would I be a good enough mom to handle multiples.

I'd love to have twins. My moms 3rd pregnancy was twins in 2005 but she lost 1 and went on to have my little sister who is 2. freaky enough so far baby wise i've followed her pattern, i was her 1st then my 1st was my daughter, her 2nd was a boy and my 2nd was a boy.
It would be freaky if when i get pregnant again it was twins.

I would be so scared but happy too! I would be worried about getting pre-eclampsia again cause I'm already at a high risk and multiples carry an even higher risk. When I went to the ob to get clomid she wanted dh to go get a sa done to check our risk for multiples (he won't) I told her he would like twins and she said it wouldn't be good for me.

Twins, I'd be thrilled. Triplets....nervous, but still thrilled. Any more than that I would be worried, but trust that God has a plan for each and every baby and trust that things will work out exactly as he meant it too.

This may be a stupid question but... how would a SA help determine risk for multiples? What are they looking for?
