I've been diagnosed with hyperprolactinaemia. My body produces higher than normal levels of prolactin (breast milk). Although I didn't breastfeed my body still makes the milk. Doctors think I could have a tumor pressing on my pituitary gland but a MRI didn't find one. My AF is irregular and I went almost a year and half without one after my son's birth. It only started coming about a month apart in mid 2007. Not a lot of people have probably heard of this problem, I know I didn't until after my Dr. figured it out because I didn't have AF after almost a year of my son's birth. My Dr. said I'm only one of 3 patients she's ever had who has had this problem. Which for a while was great because I had my own form of natural birth control, I didn't want two kids in diapers. Plus I saved a ton of money on maxi pads. But of course the baby fever has hit me and I want another child and for my son to have a sibling. I also see a specialist who has told me he has treated other women with my problem and with medication and time they've been able to have healthy pregnancies. He said with my age and that I've only been pregnant once before which resulted in my son, once we get the prolactin levels down enough where I ovulate I should be able to conceive another child and have a healthy pregnancy.

Went through Secondary IF when ttc our son, It took a month shy of 1 yr and 2 back to back m/c's one being a missed m/c that was found out at 10wks, but didn't pass the baby til what should had been 13wks4days gestation. I was given conflicting measurements of what the baby measured when they were taken 1 wk apart i was told at one baby was 6wk4day and 1 wk later in the ER for bleeding told baby was 8wk2days with uterus measuring 11wks which was correct.
