I was wondering if anyone knew anything about this or even had a theory or opinion. I have heard from some sources that bding every day actually lowers your chances of concieving in comparison to every other day. I didn't know if that was true or not, because I heard from other sources that it doesn't matter how often it is. Well, my sex drive has been off the wall lately (sorry if tmi) and we have been bding at least once a day, sometimes more. Does this mean that my chances are not as good this month? I don't know what to think, but right now, I just want to do what makes me happy because I don't want to be like a machine that only tries when I know it is possible to get pregnant. I just want to have fun while trying, even though I really want it. I don't want to destroy our relationship for a baby. Any opinions would be great. Thanks

The frequency is determined by the results of the man's SA. If he has a lower count then every other day is recommended so he has time to build up a bigger supply. If he has a normal count then every day is often preferred and if he has a high count you can go to town and back again and it shouldn't make a difference. Unless your doctor instructs you to do otherwise just go with what's right for the two of you.

I agree with what MamaAnna said. For most men, everyday BD will not hurt their chances. Only those with low counts will need to BD every other day.

When we had our SA done DH's counts were at 100 million. The RE said every day was fine. If he has low counts, then you would want to just try every other day or even every third day.

I totally agree with Anna, me an my dh try to do every other day but with how busy we are that's even rare

My ER said since dh sperm was normal everyday was better then every 2nd day ..BUT if he had low every 2nd day is better.

It is even better to get the the 5 days up to and including O covered daily or every 2nd day for best chance's
