Hi I'm Jenny. I'm new to this group but not Justmommies.

I'm 25 and married to Corey (29). We have one son named Teddy who is 3. I've been diagnosed with hyperprolactinaemia. My body produces higher than normal levels of prolactin (breast milk). Although I didn't breastfeed my body still makes the milk. Doctors think I could have a tumor pressing on my pituitary gland but a MRI didn't find one. My AF is irregular and I went almost a year and half without one after my son's birth. It only started coming about a month apart in mid 2007. My DH and I have accepted that without medication to regulate the prolactin we won't be able to get pregnant again. We both want another child. My Dr. doesn't even think I ovulate on my own because of prolactin. She's prescribed me Proladel which is supposed to help me ovulate and make my cycles normal again.

Welcome to our little group, and good luck ttc'ing, I also don't usually ovulate, but it's because of pcos, hopefully the meds your doctor gave you will help you and you will get your bfp soon, this is a wonderfully supportive group of girls here, they are the greatest, I look forward to gettting to know you.

I'm Amanda, wife to Mike & mom to Austin (12). Mike & I are TTC our first (Austin is from a previous marriage). I have hypothyroidism which I believe may be the cause of my secondary infertility. GL TTC! I hope your stay is short!

Welcome to the group! I recognize you from the TTC board. I'm glad you've joined us over here as well. I hope that the medicines that your doctor gave you will help you to get your BFP quickly. I hope your stay is short and sweet, and I look forward to getting to know you better during that time. This board moves a lot slower than the main TTC board, but it also allows you to get to know people much better on a one on one basis. I think you'll like it here.

Thanks for the welcome here. I recognize you also from the main TTC board. I think I'll like here too. I'm supposed to take the medicine for a month and then get a blood test to see how my prolactin levels are doing. Hopefully it'll lower them in a decent time because I sure hate the price of those pills but it'll be worth it to have another child.

You know, I just noticed you were from Ohio. DH was born & lived there a short time (till he was about 11) in Dayton. I think most of his extended family is still there.

~InHisHands~ we live about a hour south of Toledo. We've went to Dayton once to see WWE's Raw though in 2004. Almost all of our families live in Ohio, except Corey's father who lives in Alabama.

Hi welcome!

I am Irene, I have unexplained secondary infertility. My 8 yr dd took 5 yrs to ttc but my other were a bit faster. I O randomly and when I do I tend to have poor Oing.

I know a gal who had to take those emeds and she is now finally pg!

I was acually tested for high prolactin while doing infertility work up. Mine was normal.
