Good luck hun! I hope you get some answers. If it is a progesterone deficiency it should be pretty easy to fix.

Well... I should get the results tomorrow. He kinda expects it to be low but he said that I may surprise him. He also said that I already surprised him by getting + OPKs. He said that if it is low we'll do Clomid next cycle or if it's good we'll do another progesterone test next cycle to make sure I'm consistently ovulating. He explained it to me like this: a + OPK says that I have the ability to O & the progesterone test says "& this is how well I did it (Oed)". So my question, if it is low & I go on Clomid next cycle - how does that help exactly? Can anyone explain that in a way I can understand. I want answers but I don't really think I want to be on Clomid!
I really do like him! We talked & he said there is the possiblity that I have PCOS b/c I have a few symptoms but he thinks my problem is more thyroid related. Anyway, he wrote on the medical billing statement PCOS b/c he said that if he just wrote infertility insurance would charge me & by marking PCOS the insurance would cover it. Oh, & he prescribed me a different prenatal so that I don't have to pay $45/month. He actually suggested an OTC but I had brought in a list of generics that my insurance does cover so he picked one from the list instead.
I have a migraine tonight so I wanted to pop in & update ya but I'm not feeling well so I probably won't be back on till tomorrow!

I don't usually o at all, they would do tests to check my progesterone, and even with clomid the highest it ever got on cd 21 was 19, which they said I had o'd, but was still at the low end of o, and that was after metformin and 100mg of clomid, clomid helps by basically supercharging your ovaries, kinda forcing o, sorry i could not be more help

Got my results!!! We start clomid next cycle (& we do another CD 23 progesterone test)!!! They said that they really want to see a 12 on the progesterone results & I was a 6.5.
Oh, & right before the OB called my thyroid dr called & wants me to start taking 8000 mg of fish oil (to lower my cholesterol). I'm telling you I have a pharmacy in my cabinet. I take soooooooooooo many pills, it's unreal!

Wow, that is all such good news, cause they can get that progesterone level up with clomid, it helped mine (it and metformin-i have pcos) I will be keeping my fingers crossed and hands clasped for you the month.
