Well AF is here so I guess I start Clomid tomorrow. AF usually starts for me first thing in the morning when I wake up. Occassionally it'll start at the end of the day like today. I am supposed to start Clomid on CD 2 so I thought I'd start Clomid tomorrow evening. Would you agree? It just seems weird since I usually start in the morning but today is like a part day to me so tomorrow, although will be CD 2 doesn't feel like CD 2. Also, would you recommend taking it in the morning or evening?

I recommend taking it in the evening, it made me a bit cranky and nauseous, from what I can remember, but that's been years ago for me, like back in 2002-3, by the way good luck

Definitely in the evening. I got horrible headaches, hot flashes and SOOO cranky, so it helped being able to sleep through the worst part of it. Plus, it made me REALLY tired by day 3 of the meds.

I have been taking it at night - an hour before bedtime. So far so good - haven't had any reactions that I know of. Tonight will be my fourth dose & Wed, my final dose then we start BDing Fri or Sat. I really feel like the Lord told me last cycle (before we found the progesterone defect & started Clomid) that this was the cycle!
And I really want this one to be it b/c DH is about to have to travel some. They are still in the planning phase & we made a list of projected fertile dates that he is going to try to not travel during but you know how that is. You can't really predict the future dates very accurately & I don't want to take Clomid a cycle he's traveling.
Keep me in your prayers please.

Sorry this is so late and probably not very useful at this point. I took my Clomid in the morning because I wanted to know what my reactions were (I'm allergic to a lot of meds). Turned out I just felt warm the first cycle and nothing the second. It did make me moody, but not until the 2WW. Hopefully it works for you and you get that BFP!

Thanks, yeah, Clomid is over for me THIS cycle. I'm not sure if I will have any reactions though (during the days I actually take the pill anyway). When I did take it, there were a couple of nights that I couldn't get to sleep immediately so I was up at least 2 - 3 hours after taking Clomid so I would think I would be able to tell some sort of difference in that time but hey, this is my first cycle on it so IDK really! My main concern is all the horror stories I'm hearing regarding cramping during AF! OUCH! I NEVER cramp & I'd like to keep it that way, if at all possible! Thanks though, I'll keep that in mind next cycle if there is a next cycle! I really feel good about this one - I'm going to get my BFP this cycle! I know I am! *fingers crossed*

That's part of why I didn't want to take it at night. Things wake me up so easily I knew that if I had a hot flash during the night or anything like that it'd wake me up. Me - Sleep = Cranky. As far as AF goes it was actually a bit lighter and less crampy for me, but that could depend on how it normally is for you. Hopefully this is it though and you don't have to find out!

It made me really sleepy and mega hot flashes the first couple months and then nothing the other months. I am on my 5th month and just started it and nothing really bothering me. When I did take it during the day I got really sleepy. I take it sometime after dinner but before bed. I have also taken it right before I went to bed and no problems there either.
