I don't have problems with the IL's - it's my parents that I struggle with & it really is a struggle. But we don't live by them anymore so it isn't as big of a problem now.

I roll my eyes and tell myself it is once a week, he eats better at our house.

I don't have a problem with my ILs giving sweets. My MIL works full time and lives an hour away, she only visits when she gets some vacation days. My FIL lives in Alabama and usually just sends up toys through the mail. My mother is always giving Teddy cookies but I don't mind because it's not worth worrying about. Teddy doesn't get much sweets at home unless it's around the holidays. I never have to worry about him having pop because Teddy doesn't like the taste of it.

I usually just try to go with the flow, it's the norm for grandparents to give kiddos things that i would not give them.

My family is pretty good we are all pretty much Anti pop/sugar/crap for kids so it all smooth here.

I don't mind it. They don't get any of that stuff at home anymore really, so it's not a huge deal.
