And I spent $7000.00 already! I had a major anxiety attack by spending that much today! It had all been planned out well in advance though. We paid off both credit cards, paid off a bunch of doctors bills, bought a tv, a camera, a laptop, my treadmill, and a brand new dryer (because there weren't any used ones available) plus we went ahead and reserved the cabin for vacation and just had them take the full amount for the week out now, and we put another 600 in savings (gas, food, and spending money for vacation). We also made our car payment and paid rent. It still really stressed me out to spend that much in one day though. If I disappear it's because our spending spree caused a complete and total nervous breakdown! lol

That's great Steph. You got alot! When we get ours (hopefully sometime next week) we are paying bills, getting the truck fixed and paying for our vacation this summer too! We have never done that before so I think it will be nice to not have to have money tight so we can pay for it!

We get more than some people in our situation too though because we claim zero deductions through the year to allow for this big return. It's the only way I could ever save up for a vacation. lol I just let the government borrow it during the year and they give it back to me now.

If it works to make sure you get a vacation, then go for it.

We got ours a few days ago and I've spent half of it already. I'm using it to pay off some of the credit cards. I'm just waiting for the bills to come to pay them off.

Yay for paying off bills and booking your cabin for vacation. We do the same with ours too.
