I just wanted to introduce myself and say hi. Me and dh have 2 dds (5+7). We have been actively ttc#3 for over a year now. I have been seeing a health nurse (we are low on dr.s here) and she sent me for bloodwork and 2 ultrasounds. She has said that it shows that i am producing eggs just not releasing them? she thinks.It also showed that i had a cycst on my ovary but not to worry, ya right! SHe has said that she is not very knowledgle with fertility so she refered me to a fertility clinic. I spoke to the clinic and they said the wait is 6months I made another appointment with another dr. for friday. I really wish someone would prescribe clomid. I am getting so tired of waiting. I am also charting and using opks and i've never had a +.so hopefully this dr. will help me. Anyway, good luck to everyone here and tonnes of babydust your way

Awww, (((((HUGS)))))! I KNOW the feeling of being tired of waiting! I'm Amanda, BTW, wife to Mike & mom to Austin (12). Mike & I have been TTC for about 3 years or so now. We learned that I have hypothyroidism so during that time about a year to 1.5 years we took a break to get my thyroid fixed. We also just learned that I have a progesterone deficiency so this was my first cycle of Clomid - just waiting for my BFP or AF, whichever comes first.

I know 6 months is a long time to wait, especially when you want so bad to conceive but it'll be here before you know it. A thought though - have you tried to get in with a regular OB (rather than a fertility clinic) - I'm sure they could prescribe you some clomid but I know you said that you have a lack of drs where you are so that may not be a possibility for you. I wanted to throw that out there though, just in case.

I hope you get your BFP soon & that maybe they can get you in sooner than 6 months! Glad you found us & I hope to get to know you better!

Welcome to the group. I'm Stephanie, your host here. I know what frustrating struggle this can be. DH and I have bee TTC our first together, (my third) for 3 years. We know that I have some issues with hormone imbalances but not sure why at this point. We are currently not trying, but not preventing while I focus on weightloss.

I hope you are able to get some answers and a BFP very soon, and I look forward to getting to know you until that point.
