but finally getting the nerve to join. We have been ttc baby number 5 since August 07. I had an ectopic pregnancy and lost twins (one was ectopic and the other was in the uterus but I miscarried). This was in November 07. My tube ruptured with my ectopic and they had to remove it. This was my second ectopic. We have been trying for over a year since my ectopic and I finally talked to my doctor about it. I have a referral to see a specialist on March 2nd. I am very nervous about this and wanted some place to talk.

I am very sensitive with other ttc girls, especially the girls trying for their first. I don't like to complain about my fertility issues because I have been so blessed. I would like some place to talk though with other moms who can relate. I also may have some questions for you as I am very nervous about seeing a fertility doc.

Edited because I have no idea why I put 08 as the year of my miscarriage. It was 07. I must have been tired when I posted this. November 08 wasn't even that long ago.

I am sorry that you have to join us over here, Patty, but glad to have you all at the same time. I definitely understand how frustrating this journey can be. We've been at this for nearly 3 years (March actually makes 3 years) and have had 5 losses during that time. I have 2 children from my previous marriage, but we are still trying to get Matt's first. We originally thought that the problem was with him, but after tons of testing we were shocked to realize that it was me.

I have to say that I really think the ladies on here are great, and it's a small, but amazing support group. Jump right in.

BTW.....next time you talk to Teresa, tell her I said hi and that I've missed seeing her around.

Edited because I can't spell. Or type....one or the other.

Welcome over here, Patty--will you be seeing an RE in March? Hopefully they're able to get you some answers and get a baby in your arms soon-good luck!

I've seen you around but not sure that I ever formally introduced myself. I'm Amanda, wife to Mike & mom to Austin (12). Mike & I have been TTC our first (Austin is from a previous marriage) for about 3 years now too but we took about 1.5 years break in there when we learned that I have hypothyroidism. My thyroid is finally fixed & most recently I was put on clomid to fix a progesterone deficiency so we are hoping & praying that we get our BFP soon. I hope you get yours soon as well!

I am guessing he is an RE. I know it is a fertility clinic. I am just a little nervous about it.

Thanks for the welcome. I have taken progesterone with all my pregnancies due to recurrent miscarriage. I had 2 miscarriages and 1 ectopic before I had Jeremy.

Hello and welcome, I am Vicki (28 for a couple more days), married to Harlan (30), and we have one son Caleb who will be 3 in april, and we have been ttcing our 2nd child for approx 15 months with two losses.

I am sorry to hear about your losses and about you having infertility issues, sounds like you are on the right path though, seeing a RE is a great step, hopefully they will be able to help you get your bfp soon, I have known several girls who only have one tube and seen a Re and got their bfp quickly!!! I will be keeping my fingers crossed for you and saying a couple prayers also.

I'm Jenny. My DH Corey and I are TTC #2. We have one son named Teddy who will 4 in April. We found that after our son's birth I have a high prolactin level that's preventing me from ovulating on my own.

I'm sorry for your losses and I hope you get a BFP soon.
