Insurance won't cover a midwife as far as I know. I haven't looked in to it too much. Right now I use an OB (and I used an OB with my son) but we are considering an unassisted home birth. We will see though.

The pratice I go has a OBGYN and a midwife there. I like them both but I see the midwife.
