I've been really upset with Matt for a couple of weeks because we blasted through our tax money so fast that a few bills which were supposed to be paid didn't get paid. I was adding things up in my head and I couldn't for the life of me figure out how the money was all gone. I knew I could be off, but by my figures there was $800 (give or take) that was unaccounted for, and I was FURIOUS that he could have blown that much that fast and have nothing to show for it. Well last night he handed over the check book (he normally handles the finances) so that I could see what had come out and what hadn't because the bank's records and ours were showing a HUGE difference. That goober messed up in his figuring. Instead of subtracting $287.66 for our car payment he somehow subtracted $1,287.66! We still had $1,000 in the bank! Needless to say I stole the debit card and jumped online to pay off those bills!
Hey that's great, here it's usually me that makes the big mistakes in the check book, a couple months back, dh was a bit annoyed with me wondering how I could have spent over 500 dollars in like one day, and he looked the checkbook over and I had wrote down our house payment twice which is 538 so I was inocent of going on a shopping spree, but guilty of being a ditz
