Have you had anyone close to you get pregnant or have a baby while you have been TTC?
How did you handle that?

Have you had anyone close to you get pregnant or have a baby while you have been TTC? Yep, my sister.
How did you handle that? Pretty well. We started trying at about the same time & I think I handled a little better b/c she suffered from what we thought was infertility too. She was just having a little bit of a hard time getting pg too but obviously not as hard a time as I am having. She had my neice Feb 12th, 2008.

at least 20 people around me or close to me have had kids since I started TTC#1 four years ago, I used to cry, now I just grin and cry inside.

I've had tons of people close to me get pregnant over the past three years. Now there is 5 or 6 on that list to have gotten pregnant multiple times since then too. UGH! Generally I just pretend to be excited and I go home and cry myself to sleep.

Have you had anyone close to you get pregnant or have a baby while you have been TTC? my cousin had a baby and then got pregnant 6 months later and had an abortion. I was SO mad. also my sister in law is pregnant again. 2nd time since we've been trying.

i have a hard time accepting it too when others get pregnant. and it's bad, but i'm more bitter when it's someone i don't really like (like a couple of coworkers!) who know what i've gone through (miscarriage and fertility stuff) and persistently ask me questions like "do i look pregnant?" it's all my own battle, i know, but it's difficult. i usually just smile, melt inside (not in a good way), then go complain to DH. this is tough stuff to deal with...

My friend, sister-in-law, and boss are all pregnant right now. I try to tell myself that I probably wouldn't want another kid because of all the bottles and diapers that I would have to do again, but I know that's a lie. I just try not to worry about it and just spoil my little boy rotten.

My best friend and my sister are both preggo .... excited for, but secretly jealous of my friend .... annoyed and upset with my sister - she is just finalizing a divorce and is having a baby with the boyfriend (#1 for him, # 3 for her). I guess I just thought she would have waited.
