I know I've been really MIA for the past couple of days, so real quickly before I head to bed, I want to show you all why.

Wednesday morning I made some phone calls and got this delivered to my house.

I spend all day Wednesday cleaning out my garage. Three years of "Toss it in the garage and we'll take it to the landfill later this week" turned into this:

After a few hours and a dumpster full of trash:

I still have to get rid of the bed that is out there, and the appliances you can see where there when we moved in, so they can stay there. We'll burn the cardboard during a bonfire this summer. It took a long time, but it felt great to get it done. Today we tackled the house. We went through all the closets, boxes, drawers, cabinets, and got nearly another dumpster full of stuff that we don't use. Mainly it's stuff that is broken or missing pieces or whatever. I've still boxed up a ton of stuff I'll sell in my yard sale this summer too.

I still have to do the kids toy boxes, but I am going to do that on Monday while they are in school. Just wanted to show off what I have been up to. I don't think I have EVER seen my garage that clean! lol

Hey Jenny! I'm so glad you dropped in! You'll have to stop by more often! Little Miss Lillian is so stinking cute!

Marie, this is the first time we have ever done the dumpster, but I am a huge fan of the idea now. We'll probably do it every couple of years from now on. To be honest....we'll probably do it again in a couple of months. I'm a big pack rat and we still have WAY too much even after two dumpster loads, but I am starting to feel very panicky and having anxiety attacks over getting rid of things, so we are going to take break once I finish the kids room on Monday and then once I've had time to adjust I'll tackle it all again.

It's so stupid that I get panicky like this, but I seriously can't stand to through anything away. Either I'm afraid I'll need it later (and I hate having to spend money on something that I once had!) or I'm afraid that getting rid of something will upset someone.....it's crazy, but it's part of who I am. lol

I'm the same way Steph although I don't get panicky per se but I do have an extremely hard time getting rid of things!

yesterday morning it turned into a full blown panic attack, complete with me shaking all over, sobbing nearly hysterically and telling Matt, "I can't do this....it has to stop......I just can't breathe!"

I hadn't had a panic attack in a long time and I thought I finally had them under control, but this makes 2 in just about a week. I had one last weekend while we were grocery shopping too.

i know how you feel about panick attacks. I used to have them really bad when i was a teenager and then they went away, but i still get them every once in a while and they are terrible.
