Do you have a hard time being around babies?

For me it kind of is a mixed bag. At Will's spring concert I had a rough time. We sat clear at the top of the bleachers....kinda right in the middle and I told Matt at one point that it just wasn't fair. Everywhere I looked was babies or pregnant women or even worse.....pregnant women with babies (of course as soon as I said that she climbed the bleachers and sat right in front of me!)

I have to see my SIL's baby and soon her twins, pretty much daily and that just kind of depends on the day. most the time I am okay but sometimes it hurts. When I go on vacation in two weeks I will be seeing my sister's 2 year old and 4 year old, my brother's 8 month old. my step sisters newborn, my "adopted" brother's nearly one year old and three year old. I am going to enjoy seeing them all, but I might just need a vacation to recover from the vacation.

I would definitely understand if you needed another vacation after all of that! I don't usually have a hard time if it's a stranger's baby or pregnant woman-right now anyway. I'm in the 2WW so I'm sure if AF comes I'll be back to feeling frustrated and down when I see pregnant women and babies. A woman at work has a 13 month old and is due with #2 in September. It was really hard hearing she was pregnant "on accident" after all I'd gone through. I just have to keep thinking that God knows what's best for me right now and that I should be open to what possibilities and opportunities the Universe throws my way. BUT...don't think I don't sit and calculate age differences between siblings when I see families out in public and wonder how many years will end up between my kids! It's so hard at times, and at others, I'm more hopeful.
