Thank you for your prayers ladies. We talked to the bank today and he said he only needed a updated abstract and a purchase agreement written up by the current owner. Once he has those he said he would finalize his paperwork, order the appraisal and all the other stuff he needs to do and closing would be in 30 days. Well, she is taking all that to the bank tomorrow so I guess that means we are looking at a closing date of sometime right around the 12th!!!!!

We didn't get as much as we hoped for, but that's okay. We were wanting extra to get a head start on getting new carpet and painting and building a deck and remodeling one bedroom to make another bathroom. Nothing urgent so we'll just do that stuff a little at a time. I go back to work the first part of June so that I can help save up the money to do these projects. I can't believe that in just over a month I'll be moving into my own home!!! One where I can change the flooring or the wall colors or whatever I want whenever I want!

Now the not so great news. Things are about to get insanely busy for us. We have vacation coming up and right after that I am going back to work. The kids are leaving on the 13th of June, so I'll be working as many hours and I can get and when I'm not working I'll be working on the house, packing to move, unpacking....you name it, I'll be doing it. I think that the time has come for me to step down as host. I have loved hosting this board, but there just isn't going to be enough time in my day for me to do everything I need to do and host too. I'll still be around when I can so you aren't getting rid of me that easily.

There are several of you that would do a wonderful job as a host, and I'll continue to help out in any way I can. I just wanted to tell you all first so you heard it from me since I really have come to think of you all as my online "family".

Oh Steph so happy for you about the house that's awesome news, and while I am sad to see you step down, I do understand completely, please share pics of your new house when you can

I'll definitely share pictures as soon as I can. Right now the previous owner is still living there, so we are waiting on her to get moved out and then I'll have tons of pictures.

Congrats on the house! Sorry to lose you as a host, but happier to have found you as a friend. I'll miss your frequent helpful and supportive posts, but look forward to them when you have a minute!

Like I said, I'm not leaving completely. I'll still be here replying as much as I can. I just didn't think it was fair to remain as a host when I won't be around as much and can't be here on a daily basis. I am glad you all understand my reasoning though.
