So after 8 months of trying to conceive our second I want to try something natural to help things out. I know I will see a specialist sometime soon but I want to try to do it naturally first. Any suggestions?

I tried acupuncture for a couple of months. I didn't actually get pregnant while going, but talking with the acupuncturist help open up a bunch of other doors for me about natural approaches to healing my body. I read a really helpful book (for me) called [U]You Can Heal Your Life[U]. It was filled with helpful approaches to healing from within just by changing your thought process. Again-it was helpful for me, I understand not for everyone. In the end, although my acupuncturist recommended I not go on clomid and instead keep trying the natural approach, I was ready to try it and got pregnant on clomid the first time! It's not for everyone though. And, there are a lot of articles out there that talk about the positive connection between acupuncture and fertility. Good luck!

Maca root is something you can try.

Vicki (WVMama) & Rhonda (MrsPoe) both used it & LOVED it from my understanding.

As Amanda stated Maca root was very helpful for me, actually I think it helped allot with me getting my bfp this time around, i have been taking it about a month and a half when I got pregnant, the month I actually conceived i ran out of it around cd16, but I could totally tell there was something different about that cycle and it turned out to be "the cycle" for me, i would definitely give it a try, it has very few side effects and lots of benefits in addition to improving fertility, the one side effect I had the first day or so was that it did make me have a bit of trouble sleeping, but after the first two days I was fine, it gives you allot of energy somehow. Good luck, hope you get your bfp soon

I have used Clomid and also used Vitex. I got pregnant several times on Vitex and it worked just like Clomid for me.

I tried soy but it just messed me up when AF did roll around, really funky

Vitamin E helps with the quality of the egg
