We started trying in August 07. I had an ectopic loss in November 07 and have been trying since then.

My doctor said three cycles too but my midwife said I didn't need to wait that long. I think that is a doctor's judgement call because I have seen some say wait one cycle, some say wait three cycles and some say just go ahead and start trying. I hope you can start trying again soon!

I've been trying 2yrs and 3mths, or 1yr 7mths since my early miscarriage.
I was nursing my first daughter up until 5wks ago (almost 3years!) so not sure how much impact that had on my hormones. Hoping things will start getting back to normal now.
Do you all know what your fertility issues are? As in I know I have a short luteal phase, or is it a mystery as to why srtill?

Hi. Im Jolene. 31 years old. I suffered three years of a short luteal phase and didnt think I could get pregnant again without medical assistance but fell pregnant by accident and naturally. I am really happy and excited to be having a baby although knowing Im going it alone this time is a bit daunting and scary!

Actively TTC #2 for about 2 years. But if you count not trying and not preventing, it's been almost 6 1/2 years. No m/c or etopic. Just AF every month.
Haven't done any medical testing to determine what's wrong. If nothing happens this month, I'll go see what's wrong.

Thanks, Lauren! How are you & the babies? How's your pg going? Do you know what you are having yet or are you going to keep it a surprise?

Progesterone defect here! Essentially what that means is that we can fertilize eggs just fine but my uterus isn't *ripe* enough to allow the egg to implant.

Oh, same as me then Amanda! Well, waiting for the docs to catch up with my self-found diagnosis! I am sure it is why my uterus lining breaks down and brings AF before an egg can implant.
