What is the craziest advice you have ever been given while ttc??

What is the craziest thing you have tried while ttc?? come on ladies we have all tried something off the wall right?

The craziest advice I was ever given was to relax. Seriously, how do you relax while TTC?

The craziest thing I tried... I didn't actually get into the crazy stuff, but next time I plan on using Red Raspberry Leaf to try to help things along.

TTC definitely had a negative impact on our love life. After so long and only being allowed to BD on certain days DH was convinced I only wanted him for a baby.

What is the craziest advice you have ever been given while ttc?? I've been told to relax too... just makes me mad! Oh, & I know we have all heard to use actual egg whites. Ewwww! Never done that... I prefer pre-seed.

I don't get crazy but I did think about putting my butt up on the wall trying to let gravity help out a bit but never did that... the most I did was put a pillow under me after TTC & really that's all you need.

Has ttc negatively affected your love life?? YES! I was so happy to be pg so we could just DTD when we felt like it & not on a schedule! So much for that, huh?

I hear you! On the butt-up-to-help-gravity - yes I've done that but usually just a pillow prop for 10mins. But I hate hate the 'relax, it'll happen' comments. People can't seem to grasp that I have a problem with my cycle and therefore relaxing won't make a difference to our chances.

Eww, I haven't been told to try egg whites but I have read about it!

As for our love-life - god, its a mess. My hubby works nights anyways so it is rarely spontanius and having a toddler means careful planning around ovulation is necessary which kills passion! We haven't even DTD for over a week right now - and I have offered! I think he is just fed up that I jump him for a week around ovulation then go totally cold after as my focus is completely on whether this is THE month and whether AF comes early again. I often worry that the egg could be trying to implant and DTD at the wrong time (like 6, 7dpo) stops it and then when AF comes at 8dpo I can't help wondering if DTD encouraged it! Crazy I know!

I have to agree I hate the just relax advice as well, that just don't work and is 100% impossible because when you are ttc'ing it's on your mind all the time!
TTC'ing definitely had a negative effect on our love life, poor dh felt 100% used, but still agreed to dtd whenever I would because I wouldn't do it most of the time unless I was O'ing or it was mid cycle, and he don't have much better luck now as doing it causes spotting which scares me stupid
