What has helped to keep you motivated on your ttc journey??

What do you do to try to relax and pamper yourself when af arrives??

The thing that helped me most during my ttc journey was probably my church family and their utter belief that we would get our blessing.

Usually on the day af arrived i had a hot bath and of course the things I did not allow myself during my cycle, ie caffeine, chocolate, and such. I also sometimes took a shopping trip, you know retail therapy is always helpful

The girls on JM keep me going.

When AF arrives I usually try to relax and take a hot shower or something like that.

Its hard to answer the first question cos my motivation is slipping lately. Usually I get a new 'plan' each cycle like trying a new fertility herb or such. Last thing I tried was Progesterone cream. Also as I was breastfeeding I kept telling myself maybe it was just a case of time and my body would straighten out once we stopped, although so far it hasn't which is why I am now going for bloodworks but I am mentally preparing myself for a future with only one child.

The latter question is easy - definitely CHOCOLATE! lol I usually have a cry for a day or two and then I get a hormone kick (I've no idea how) and feel bright and positive and bubbly again! Its weird I can still feel that after so long ttc...

Hi. Im Jolene. 31 years old. I suffered three years of a short luteal phase and didnt think I could get pregnant again without medical assistance but fell pregnant by accident and naturally. I am really happy and excited to be having a baby although knowing Im going it alone this time is a bit daunting and scary!

The Lord is my motivation! I know He has PROMISED me a child & I have never doubted Him so I'm just waiting!

Caffeinated Sodas & chocolate!!!

I don't think I was really motivated since my OB played the infertility card so early. I tried to act/think positively, but I never really believed it.

As far as AF... I always expected her so I just ate Motrin and went on as usual.
