As I said in my last post, I got a + OPK yesterday so figured my ovulation would be today (sunday) but my temp rose this morning which will make FF say I ovulated yesterday...is that possible? My Fri OPK was negative but it was a funny stick (it had dents in it when I got it out the pack) so maybe it was faulty? The control line came up though the pink smudged across the top a little. But the test line would still have shown something right?

It wouldn't matter TOO much except for having my 7dpo blood done this cycle so I really need to be sure of ovulation! Typical its a bit iffy the month I need to know it the most! Aghh!

Do I trust my temps more than a + OPK?

I'd talk to your dr's office... my dr would say trust the OPK. He doesn't believe charts really tell you a lot. I understand what you mean though. Actually it IS possible that you would have gotten a + OPK the day before but just missed it b/c of a faulty stick or some ladies even have to take 2 OPKs a day to catch their surge b/c it doesn't last long... I personally have never had that problem but their are several on JM who have.

Really though if you are going to trust the chart... it's too early to tell. You only have one temp that is above the others & it really isn't that much higher than your temp on day 11 so that temp looks "normal" to me & not elevated. I'm really bad at this though so I may be wrong. I do know though from reading (Taking Charge of Your Fertility by Toni Wescler) that you should compare your temp with the last 6 temps to determine a rise. Anyway, like I said I'm bad at it that's why I have software that does all the work for me.

I think you could be right. My OPK today was exactly same as yesterdays (not darker or lighter) and I figure if my temp drops tomorrow (then raises) that will put my ovulation as CD18 (mon) which is same as last cycle and would 'match' OPK to temps. However if my temp goes up tomorrow FF will put my ov as CD16 - but I think that would have to be considered wrong...hmmm?
CD18 is GOOD news too as I can have my 7dpo bloods done a week monday! yay!

Bad news is that trying to bed daily hasn't worked out so well...hubby has struggled and now totally avoiding me/bedding, even though he knows now is the key time. I think pressure is making him unable to 'perform'. I'm gonna count us out this cycle for sure and I am feeling really crap right now and feel like abstaining all this cycle AND next so as to not get my hopes up anymore.
