I took my first temp this morning! Of course it's hard to get 3 hours of sleep right now, but hey, something is better than nothing!

God, its rare for me to take a temp after 3hrs solid sleep! But I still get my pattern. I tend to take it as soon as I reach a slight consiousness from a deep sleep. Sometimes its too early so I go back to sleep and take it again (hence after maybe just an hours deep sleep if thats then nearer my norm temp-taking-time).

I find its that deepness of sleep thats important. If I'm laying there trying to sleep but am too mentally active then I discard the temp or use it but make a note of 'bad sleep'.

Hi. Im Jolene. 31 years old. I suffered three years of a short luteal phase and didnt think I could get pregnant again without medical assistance but fell pregnant by accident and naturally. I am really happy and excited to be having a baby although knowing Im going it alone this time is a bit daunting and scary!

I've had times that I've done that. I already screwed up today though! The baby woke me up and I was talking to her to quiet her down for 5 minutes before I remembered to temp. Whoops! Not surprisingly it was a lot higher than yesterday.

Thats funny. If I move around, talk or whatever my temp goes down not up!

Yeah I always go up for some reason. Hopefully I do better tomorrow. Only 1 pack required so I have to get back in the swing of things!
