As I only ever usually have a 1WW I'm wondering - if by taking my progesterone I do extend my waiting to two weeks, what pattern of symptoms could I expect? Would my usual 1WW symptoms just continue? Or do you usually get, like, sore boobs and that in the second week?

I usually have sore boobs, some acne, bad mood, headaches, nausea and bloating right after ovulation but apart from feeling sick yesterday everythings a bit quieter on the symptom front? Could that be a sign that the prog is working and I'll get it later than I normally do?

Hi. Im Jolene. 31 years old. I suffered three years of a short luteal phase and didnt think I could get pregnant again without medical assistance but fell pregnant by accident and naturally. I am really happy and excited to be having a baby although knowing Im going it alone this time is a bit daunting and scary!

You may just see your symptoms prolonged, I don't know. During my 2WW I would get everything you mentioned as well as fatigue and I would cramp the whole time.

Oh thanks. I get cramps too but usually just a day or so before. And yellow globby cm (tmi).

Nothing yet though, I'm hoping I did ovulate! But I did cramp all week before my high temp:?

I just started the progesterone and I can tell you that I am extremely bloated, gassy, TIRED!, and crampy. I think the progesterone is supposed to make your EPS worse or make you think it's EPS. My symptoms in the 2WW, whenever I was pregnant are : extreme fatigue, cramping from about 5dpo, some bloating and constipation.

Oh thanks Amanda and Trish.
I had cramping and tender boobs when pregs with my daughter and was sure it was AF coming until I chance-tested but no sickness or anything else.

Well, today is 10dpo and my temps are looking good! No bloating, spots or cramping for a few days. Only symptom is sore boobs! Last cycle AF came the morning I woke without sore boobs so I am happy they're still tender!
Still...I know having an extended LP doesn't mean BFP but at least I might have a chance now!

So how long is your LP again? Since you 10 dpo now, is this cycle so far longer? Oh, yay!!!

My LP is 7-8 days usually, meaning AF comes ON day 8 or 9 (dpo). I've had a couple of 9 day LP's recently so AF comes on 10dpo ie today. I don't feel ANY AF symptoms but I need to get to tomorrow before I can truely celebrate. I'm pretty confident *touch wood* so the progesterone is just what I needed, as I thought, even though my doc disagreed! I'm so happy!

I did a HPT this morning but which wasn't that unexpected. I'm going to test 12dpo then 14dpo. I'm not confident with regards to getting a BFP but a longer LP is still progress!

Still no cramps or bad mood or other AF symptoms! Loverly high temp this morning 11DPO! Boobs still tender but maybe less so? Hard to tell. They don't hurt if I touch them only if my daughter knocks against them when jumping on me for a cuddle, lol

I'm not sure how much the progesterone will disguise AF symptoms though? Maybe AF will still come even with a high temp but usually means I am safe for the day...don't know how it works..but....

I'VE MADE IT TO 11DPO.......WHOOOOHOOOOO!

Sorry, I am just real happy by that at last!
