Seperated June 2010 from my husband. One daughter DOB 26/07/2006. BFP 06/01/2011, due september but 'high risk' for premature birth.

Hi. Im Jolene. 31 years old. I suffered three years of a short luteal phase and didnt think I could get pregnant again without medical assistance but fell pregnant by accident and naturally. I am really happy and excited to be having a baby although knowing Im going it alone this time is a bit daunting and scary!

congrats, i hope this means that mine will be coming soon! does anyone know if the cbe digis are good? I have been using them with no luck this cycle!

I've heard they work GREAT over on TTCAL but I have never used one.

That's what I used. I had a positive cheapie and couldn't believe it so I ran out and bought 2 CBE Digis. I took another IC test out of pure disbelief and dipped the CBE in the same urine. It hadn't been very long since I went the first time and still the line came up immediately on the IC and the digi showed positive in less than 30 seconds. That was at 15 DPO.

mine takes like 3-5 minutes to come up! it hasnt came up at all within the 30-40 second time period. Just to give you an idea, I peed on it, brushed my teeth went and crumbled the hamburger then check and still waited a few seconds for it to finally blink a BF "O"! Are mine defective or something?

I doubt its defecttive. They're all so simply made and work in the same way - which is why I use eBay cheapies. However time of day can be important. I do mine between 11am and 2pm but have got a positive both earlier and later. However by the nature of the surge it is possible that you can miss it and it is sometimes recommended that you do two times a-day (say 11am and 6pm).

That is also why charting your temps can be a useful back-up source as when you see that rise in temps you would know you had entered the 2WW.

My cycle before last I had a + OPK on a Sat and the Sun and was a bit confused and was sure that mean't I had ovulated on the Sun or Mon latest but according to my temps I didn't get a raise until the Wednesday! Putting ovulation Tuesday. Quite a gap from my + Saturday.

woah! well, I finally got a positive opk today!!! yay!!! Im one behind you "in his hands" and I called my doc, he said to dtd for the next 5-6 days! DF said he wants that in prescription form lolol! We will pray this works for all of us!!! Cant wait to see our BFP!!!!

Yay, goodluck amber! Glad it DID work and you got your +. Starting my OOK's tomorrow!~ Shouldn't ov yet but I feel like I am going to ov early for some reason.
