Savers...what's your best money saving tips? Well coupons are huge, but also not buying outside of what your needs are. With 7 people in the family and only one income we don't have much of a chance to just buy stuff because we want it. Those things come at special times. Also cutting back on things like your cable pkg, or your cell phone. That does seem to help. We also eat at home a lot, and didn't use to. We have saved a ton of money doing it that way!
Spenders...what are you most likely to spend it on? If I did have extra money it would prolly be on electronics of some sort.

Spenders...what are you most likely to spend it on? Stuff for the kids or on fertility type things (OPK's, HPT's, books, charting software, meds...that kind of thing)

I TRY to save money.. I always look for good deals.. and compare prices.. and i will use coupons.. and if i see something that is a "2/$3" (just using as an example) and something else right next to it not on sale.. I will sit there and figure out.. 1.. if i need 2.. then 2.. if it's cheaper to buy 2 not on sell (that might be an off brand that i am used to buying) and like another example.. when i buy the frozen bags of boneless/skinless chicken.. i check the sodium.. and buy the one that has less.. but more salt something frozen has in it.. the less you will get.. b/c when it cooks the salt comes out.. and the chicken is smaller.

when it comes to other things.. if we go out to the movie i always go to the store and buy the .99cent candy.. and bring a bag of popcorn.. (thanks to my big purse) they will not check inside your bag just randomly.. unless they see it.. and if i need something like clothes for Gracie i will go and spend a while at the second hand kids store.. OR i will look at the clearence racks at target and walmart. I will not pay full price for kids clothes.. I do not see ne thing wrong with the second hand kid store .. u take it home and wash it before you let your kid wear it..

and when it come to the utilities.. i keep the lights off during the day.. and only use lights when i need to.. and i will not run the dishwasher, clothes washer and shower at the same time.. when it comes to washing laundry i wait til I have a big load so i do not have to wash a lot of little loads.. unless there is something we need washed before hand i will do a small load..

one more thing i do too.. is when James gets paid.. i take some money and hide it.. this way.. if we need money for something we will have it.. and when i go grocery shopping i have a set ammount.. and i try not to spend it all.. that way i have extra left over..

Savers...what's your best money saving tips? COUPONS COUPONS COUPONS. Don't buy things you don't normally eat just cause they are on sale. Don't buy meat unless it is on sale, buy frozen veggies instead of fresh (they are frozen at peak so they are just as good), limit amount of fresh produce you buy so you don't have it going bad before you eat it, etc.
Spenders...what are you most likely to spend it on? Basically anything for AJ. I also tend to spend money on stupid things sometimes. I am better recently - it is hard though.
