The holidays are just around the corner, and the hustle and bustle is about ready to start.

What special plans do you have for the next few months?

Any holiday traditions?

Any special themes?

What special plans do you have for the next few months? Nothing real special, dh has to work on thanksgiving this year so we will eat late, Christmas is going to be different. We are going to do Santa gifts and stockings but we are going to wait until our taxes to do presents from us. A little different this year but we always get a nice tax return but never have any money at Christmas, so we will do that this year.

Any holiday traditions? We always put our tree up the weekend after thanksgiving. We also always have Christmas morning to ourselves while my 4 oldest kids are with their Dad, then I get them late morning and do dinner with my family.
Any special themes? I don't know about themes but we love decorated trees. We always have our big tree and then several little ones. This year we moved into a house that has three little pine trees outside that I will be decorating. Then I like to do a red and white tree with candy canes. And homemade ornaments.

Im kinda looking forward to it this year.

You sound a lot like my mom, Renee!

What special plans do you have for the next few months? Thanksgiving & Christmas we always go see my family 2 hours away. Christmas Eve is the big holiday around here when we have a big family dinner at my grandmother's house. This year I believe Mike's family will come down sometime around Christmas so we'll be visiting with them too!

Any holiday traditions?
Christmas eve at my grandmother's house!

Any special themes?
Nope, not here

What special plans do you have for the next few months? Nothing too special. This is our first Christmas in "our" house though. I think I am really going to enjoy starting some new traditions.

Any holiday traditions? We have Thanksgiving at his Grandma's house and play bingo with the whole extended family. Everyone picks up little prizes throughout the year....candles, pens, hand towels, toys, pot holders, candy.... that kind of thing. It's tons of fun!

We put up our tree the day after Thanksgiving and leave it up until New Years. We go to Matt's grandparents house (FIL's parents) for Christmas Eve. Everyone is there..... EVEN SANTA!!! It's wild and crazy and loud! The kids LOVE it! On Christmas Day, we go to his other Grandparents (MIL's parents). It's a lot smaller and more low key.

Any special themes? Not really. I hope to have a couple little trees this year....on in my den with just white lights and green and red ornaments and one upstairs for the kids to decorate any way they want. Then we will have our one big tree.
