I don't always use OPKs but have recently as I want to start my progesterone as soon as possible after ovulating. With temping you have to wait three days. With a +opk you can be pretty sure the first high temp is 1dpo.

I've looked at fertility monitors but don't see how they're much better than cheapie OPK's. You still have to buy the sticks to go in them? Only plus is the digital ones take the guess work out of judging line colour.

Have you ever considered buying a fertility monitor? No.. they cost to much..otherwise i might have one..My SIL was going to give me hers..once she was done TTC.. but she is still TTC.. (she doesn't know I am TTC too) She was just gonna give it to me to use when we were ready to TTC #2.. but which she doesn't know that I already am.. NO one in our family knows.. we are TTC.. I don't want everyone knowing.. and questioning how's it goin.. thats why when we get Pregnant i will probably wait til we hear the babys heartbeat before we told the rest of the family.
