Did your parents name you after anyone? My name Jolene came from a Dolly Parton song (of the same name) and my sis was called Layla after an Eric Clapton song.
Did you name your kid(s) after anyone? I just fell in love with the name Dakota as soon as I heard it but it IS actually a song name too, by the band Stereophonics so the music theme wasn't broken!
Will you name your future children after anyone? Not deliberately. Will just look for names when I am pregs and see what comes about. Although if I get pregs with a boy this year I will prob choose Matthew John as it came in a dream recently and John IS my dads name, though not the reason I would choose it.

Did your parents name you after anyone? I am named after that horid song in the 70's 'Just walk away Renee'. I absolutely hate the song, but I love my name. It means reborn.
Did you name your kid(s) after anyone? All of my Children are named after someone. Ryan James, I liked Ryan his middle name James is his Dad's middle name. If her were a girl he would have been Julia Anne, after my best friend that died when we were 16 and Anne is a family name.
Rebeckah Julianne, I liked Rebeckah and Well you can see where the Julianne came from with what would have been Ryan's name. If she were a boy she would have been Aaron Ambrose, Ambrose being her Dad's Grandfather's name.
Robert Harold (Robbie) was named after both his grandpa's, My Dad Robert, and his Dad's Dad, Harold. If he were a girl he would have been Fern Louise, after my great Aunt that had died right before he was born, and my maternal Grandma.
Raelynn Louise, Raelynn is my nickname in high school Rae, and Lynn, her aunts middle name, and Louise was my maternal Grandma, who died 10 days after she was born, She was going to be Raelynn Dawn, Dawn being my middle name, but with Grandma so sick we went with that. If she was a boy should would have been Randall Thomas, Randall to go with all the R's and Thomas is he fathers name.
Daniel Edward, my husband chose Daniel from the bible and Edward is His Brother, and Nephew's first name, and his Dad's middle name. If he were a girl he would have been Hannah Renee, Hannah from the bible and Renee after me.
Gracie we just stuck with Grace, but she would have been Gracelynn Renee, or Joshua Charles. Charles being dh's Grandfathers name.

If we have a girl now I like, Tabeyah Renee, Tabeyah is a family name, and my name, dh likes Josette Renee, And for a boy, I like Josiah Charles. DH Likes William Charles. William is his Dad's name.

Did your parents name you after anyone? The song Amanda by Don Williams, I believe. My middle name came from some lady that my dad either had a crush on or thought looked good. Actually both my & my sister's middle name came from someone my dad liked... my middle name is Gail & my sister's is Irene. Oh, & I was going to be named Selina (my sister's name) until they heard that song!
