My scales is doing the fandango!! I only brought the new battery for it last week...but its jumping wildly from low to high weights and settling on something different! Sooo gutted....means I have no idea if what it told me LAST week was accuarate or not?
Annoyed cos I brought a non-battery scales last week too but even THAT says different things depending on where you put it. MAybe cos we're 3rd floor apartment and the floors aren't level or something? I don't know...but I am soooo frustrated! I thought I was doing so well!

What shall I do? Try a NEW battery again? I can't afford to buy another new scale!

I am really happy and excited to be having a baby although knowing Im going it alone this time is a bit daunting and scary!

Update: well, went and got new battery...but its still doing the same. I discovered also changes by if I lean forward (to see) or shift slightly back! Figured I should just stand straight and it did say the same thing two times in a row,,,but when I tried again, jumped up a stone!

To top that off had a thoughtless comment from a stranger at the shops as well and I feel like crying and bunking off work (can't afford to though) as well as giving up totally!

Honestly I think you'll probably do okay if you are consistent in what you do. I think consistency is the key. I know you're not supposed to put scales on carpet when weighing yourself but mine is & I'm leaving it there for EVERY measurement, kwim? Try again, making sure your consistent... see if that helps!

I'm so sorry about the rude comment & that you're having a bad day with the scales.

I really don't know how I am hanging in there! Thought I'd jump on the scales anyways but it said......don't laugh.......186lbs! That was when it stopped cutting out the moment I stood onit! *rolls eyes* Its soooo out of it!

I did 3hrs extra work two weeks ago (overtime) but didn't get paid for it in this months slip! But, well, it was worth enough to buy a new scales so I think I will borrow out our savings and put back when I get my OT.

I'll do my weigh in tomorrow morning instead...although I have yet to get a proper weighing in! grrr! Just want to know where I am!
