Where's the baby?: Soy Isoflavones - The Natural Clomid?

Found this very interesting! Even though I am hoping the Maca is enough for me this cycle I just brought some Soy Isoflavones! I figured if my cycle goes short again it will be close to xmas and not a good time to run out and buy some so better to be prepared!

Sounds pretty good! Though i am not sure WHEN to take it? Was it CD5-CD10 for a 'strong ovulation'???

Someone in the comments below mentioned about having low estrogen AND progesterone? Maybe I need to tackle BOTH not just progesterone? So if no luck this cycle I am gonna do the Maca + Soy next!

Yeah, hubby did laugh at my adding yet another pill bottle in the cupboard!

I feel like I am going all out! I'm starting to feel desperate - I want a bfp before going back to the docs! I couldn't when I was still nursing as I was always worried about what might go into my milk. Now? I'll just be risking myself. I have been getting alot of tingling numbness in my arm/hands at night (if I sleep with my arm raised) which I think could be cos of being upto 300mg B6. But I am determined to put it to the test (having read that nobody has needed more than 300mg to extend LP)

I'm a bit concerned about the Soy drying up cm as I have very little anyways...but I have the pre-seed instead!

I'm on my second cycle of SI now. 120 mgs CD's 3-7, I'll see about finding more info for you ladies about it.

Oh and regarding the CM. I actually have MORE! TONS more! I don't go dry till around CD 20+! You generally O about 10 days after the last pill. Some women a little sooner, some a couple days later. Doesn't change by much. I had O symptoms a day later than I normally do.

I'll post more about this later!

I was just lurking but I took two cycles of soy isoflavones. The first one I did CD 3-7 and BFN. This cycle I messed up. I only took it CD 4 and forgot about it again until CD 8. So I took it CD 8 and 9 and then figured why bother. But I got my BFP at 11 DPO! I had my IUD removed in 2007 and this was my first pregnancy since 2005! I really think the soy and extra B vitamins made this cycle my lucky one!

Thats great Sara! Its very difficult to know when to take them!

I didn't know that Motherfrog...about ovulation being generally 10 days after last pill? I would guess 3-7 is the better days then? I can't remember which one gives you a 'strong O' and the other days multiple eggs? Something like that?

Thats good about the cm too...I did wonder cos I thought isn't Estrogen the one that tells your body to create cm pre-O? So if SI's trick you into creating more Estrogen then yeah, I'd have thought more cm? I dunno. Guess I'll see for myself if I have to use them!

My tabs have 55mg SI in them so should I take two or three?
