So I went in and met with a doctor that I really like. She's the one I wanted to deliver Elizabeth, but she wasn't on duty at the hospital that day. Since it hasn't been that long since my last visit they didn't do a pelvic, blood work, nothing like that. They're going to do that all in a month instead. We just talked about family health history like problems with anesthesia and things like that so she'd know if it'd be a problem for the baby. Then when she asked for my LMP I told her and she commented the previous must have been in October. So I told her no, it was in September and that I'm irregular because of my PCOS. I told her that when I'd been charting before my O date would vary a lot so she said what I was really hoping to hear. Ultrasound! She didn't want to bother with the wheel, she wanted a reliable due date!

They do them in the office so all we had to do was wait for our turn which didn't take long. We got to see our precious little gem right away.

Everything looks absolutely perfect at this point and they only shifted my due date by 2 days! It was the closest I've had to a normal cycle in years. His/her little heart was just racing away at 125bpm. We're absolutely in love already and Elizabeth kept staring at the screen so I think she's jealous already.

My scanner is broken so unfortunately I can't share any pictures this time.

I'll put them up if I ever get it fixed.
