So some of you may remember my issues with my stepkids, and how dh was/wasn't handling it. We he finally talked with his sister a couple of days ago. She got married when she was 40 to a man that had 3 kids. He told her all about the way things had been and what was happening and she agreed 100% with me. She told dh that if anything ever happened to my bil that she would have no family where she is. That his kids would act as though she never existed.

I am so happy to finally have some support, instead of dh just throwing his hands up and acting like he has no idea what to do. It feels so good!!

Anyway I wanted to update you all!

Hi. Im Jolene. 31 years old. I suffered three years of a short luteal phase and didnt think I could get pregnant again without medical assistance but fell pregnant by accident and naturally. I am really happy and excited to be having a baby although knowing Im going it alone this time is a bit daunting and scary!

Yeah, the holidays on one had have been wonderful because I didn't have to worry about those kids, but on the other hand have been difficult because it hurts dh so much. I just don't know what to say to him about it. He has allowed it to get to this point, and I support him, but not when it goes against my well being or my kids well being.
Anyway thanks for the support Jo.

I think its just that men tend to compartmentalize.

I have been with my hub 11yrs and am still a complete stranger to his side of family. He lived with me and my mum for 5yrs so its different with my side.
