Over xmas I was munching through some Quality Street chocs and was surprised to see 'Contains Soya' on some of them. After taking my Soya Isoflavones early in my cycle I wasn't sure having more when I want to ovulate was a good idea so I skipped eating those ones!
But then, today, I picked up a 'chocolate coin' to nibble on and out of curiosity looked at the ingrediants list and sure enough it said 'Soya Licithin'.

Now, I just googled it briefly but its very mixed whether this is a good thing or bad. And regards to fertility? I have no clue now! It is also said to be an ingrediant VERY widely used in a large variety of products!

Is it something to be avoided????

Edit: Heres a rather long article! Dakota was moaning at me so I had to skim the latter half and couldn't see Soya Lecithin mention specifically? But found some interesting facts about it causes thyroid problems!

Soy

It seems impossible to have an effect really - when you think of ALL the people who are fertile no probs and what they eat! *sigh* So hard to know.

The amounts that are in food aren't going to alter your cycle hun, it's very little compared to how much SI you've taken. Most foods contain trace amounts of it. I wouldn't worry about it.

Why are you saying soyA?
