OH I AM IN SHOCK!!!!!!

I just got my progesterone result back!

I had it at 5dpo, Monday. I was suprised when the nurse said I could phone Wednesday. So soon?

Anyhoo.......(yes i'm keeping you in suspense on purpose!)...I phoned and the receptionist said that yes my result was in but the doctor hadn't looked at it yet to leave a comment so could I phone back tomorrow . I said 'but can I know what it is now?' She said 'Would I understand what it means?' I said YES!

I mean....my last level was just a 5. It needs to be over 10 to indicate ovulation right? And I was SURE I didn't ovulate well this cycle......but....

OK ok.....

The level was.................

46!!!!!!!!!!!!

OMG OMG OMG! Did the Soy really work so well?

LOL..its probably 4.6 but the receptionist read it wrong! haha

If its right though...THANKYOU GOD THANKYOU SO MUCH!

I know its doesn't mean my AF might not show up early as usual but at least SOMEthing happened? That maybe if I ovulate (with Soy?) that I would just need progesterone to extend my LP?

Ahhhh! I'm out of words! (finally) lol

No way!!! Woo-hoo! Praise the Lord... see He IS in control even with your short LP. \o/ \o/ \o/

It's so hard to believe though kinda isn't it... I mean the fact that you KNOW things are going on then something actually works the way it is supposed to... it's so surreal & you kinda think you have to pinch yourself or something.

BTW, I had a horrible migraine last night so I expect AF to show. Blah! But I'm still trusting & believing that I WILL get pg, this might not be the cycle but it's coming!

Thanks. I'm getting nervous cos today is 9dpo so I need to get to Sunday (11dpo) just to know I have at least a 10 day LP (a first!).
I have two preg tests so I would prob do one Sunday even though its WAY early and then save the other as long as I can (which will only be a day or two knowing me) but if AF stays away that long that in itself will be amazing!

We only b'ded once (the day of my +opk and O day according to FF) so it really will be a lil miracle if I was pregs. I highly doubt it!
I do think that God has been wanting me to do this 'journey' for a reason and that perhaps this is a sign that I am on the right road now...but doesn't mean He will give me that ultimate reward yet!

And speaking of...I am even more unsure where to go from here? The doc phoned and said that that level mean't everything was fine. So where does that leave me in regards to getting fertility help/Clomid? If I tell them that I used Soy Isoflavones they might get mad that I didn't 'go natural' as they wanted. But if I say nothing they will think I O'd on my own and won't give me Clomid? But if the Soy did the same job maybe I won't need Clomid? If I get pregs now or later with Soy then I guess the fact of needing fertility treatment will be moot anyways????

So many questions! And as my hub said....all depends on this cycle. My progesterone may have been higher but will my cycle length (LP) be correct or short? If it is short (ie AF comes tomorrow) then I think I will book a docs appointment to talk sooner than Feb like they wanted.

Anyhoo...fun stuff...symptoms so far are my boobs still hurt (last cycle they stopped at 7dpo) and they have felt like big bruises rather than just nipple sensitivity. No AF spots yet. Yellow 'snotty' cm but that is usual pre-AF. Maybe a cramp today? Wasn't too sure? I'm soooo scared AF will come tomorrow! PLEASE PRAY FOR ME that it doesn't!!!!

BDing on O day & the day before are the 2 best days to get pg so your timing sounds GREAT to me.

Well not good enough evidently. The witch showed bright and early this morn!

Soo...not even a day on my LP

I'm trying to be strong though and remind myself that it just means I am where I was anyways with returning to the docs for answers.

I know the feeling. I just started yesterday & today's baby's EDD!

BTW, I meant to say earlier too that I would DEFINITELY tell your dr's about the soy b/c if you don't I would be too afraid they wouldn't do the Clomid thing eventually. I'd much rather them scald me than not get fertility help. But actually they may help you ANYWAY b/c obviously people O spontaneously... look at me & my RE is still willing to do the injectables with me. Of course, the UK is different so IDK.

I just don't get...if I O'd then why is my LP still short??? Your LP is normal isn't it?
12- 14 days long???

I may go quiet arond here for a bit now. I feel I need time to reflect and am back to the NTNP. I'll try to get a docs appointment for Fri and maybe they'll do my referral earlier? I mean..we're not far off Feb? Then I feel I really have given up between now and then. I could do the Soy again but honestly? I am too disapointed. If it makes me O but not extends my Lp there is still no point.
