No, we didn't get a BFP. We have started the process to become foster parents. We are hoping to eventually adopt, but we decided to foster while we work on saving up money for the adoption.

We will be attending our first informational session on either February 8 or 22. After that there is a 10 week study session, and then the home study. We could have the first child placed in our home sometime this summer! I'll keep you posted as things progress!

Stephanie that' a wonderful thing you are doing! So many kids out there need a safe warm place to live, some one to listen to them, and a shoulder to cry on. There are not a lot of people that would do what you are doing and I wish you the best of luck hun! I was a foster kid and I wish there were more people like you, a mom with an open heart and an open home!

That's really great that you'll be able to give some of the love you're overflowing with to children that so desperately need it. I know that I would never have the strength to do something like that and I really admire you for it.
