OK, I found out there are TWO systems used for measuring progesterone.

Most clinics will look for a progesterone level of 30 nmol/l (some say over 40 nmol/l) to indicate ovulation. You do need to be aware that different clinics and labs use varying measurements and ranges so whenever comparing anything like this you do need to take this into account otherwise it doesn't give a clear picture...eg 30 nmol/l is approx 10 ng/ml. If you've been told you ovulated and your level was 15 then it could be that the measurements used were in ng/ml eg 15 ng/ml would be approx 45 nmol/l. I wouldn't advise comparing your hormone levels with other ladies until you're aware of the measurements used as it will just get confusing and take your results out of context.

New here, would appreciate advice re progesterone & 21 day test
Just thought I'd add that as it would explain why my level seemed so 'high' but in reality is 'normal' because my docs use the nmol/l measure. I'm still good though in terms of proving I ovulate!

Hi. Im Jolene. 31 years old. I suffered three years of a short luteal phase and didnt think I could get pregnant again without medical assistance but fell pregnant by accident and naturally. I am really happy and excited to be having a baby although knowing Im going it alone this time is a bit daunting and scary!
