So..I just ordered:

* Vitamin B-12 (100ug)

* Agnus Castus Capsules (400mg)

* Dong Quai Capsules (530mg)

* Beta-Carotene Capsules (6mg)

* B-Complex & B-12 Tablets

*Vitabiotics Pregnacare Conception (multivit)

As well as taking:

Evening Primrose 1000mg (upto ovulation)

Maca tablets

B6 100mg

Omega 3

Vitamin C 60mg

And of course - Soy Isoflavones from CD1-5.

Thats 10 tabs daily!!! Not inc the Soy and EPO which are not all cycle!!!!

WOW!

I'm also gonna do a Juice Clense next week from Tues to Friday. I have tues.weds and fri off work so I think will be easier than doing it on work days (though have to get through Thurs at work).
I can eat raw nuts and fruit if I really want..but only if I can't do without. It should clear out my colon and help with absorbtion of the vits. Depending how I manage...I might do it once a month of for one day every week or something. Might help shift a few lbs too! lol

Hi. Im Jolene. 31 years old. I suffered three years of a short luteal phase and didnt think I could get pregnant again without medical assistance but fell pregnant by accident and naturally. I am really happy and excited to be having a baby although knowing Im going it alone this time is a bit daunting and scary!

lol, I know! But I did read in my latest book that a man took 30 vits a day to correct a fertility problem he had!

I've had a poor diet my WHOLE life - and I don't particulary want to change - but I am making small changes like switching to wholemeal bread, rice and pastas and eating more nuts and fruit. The book basically makes you ask WHY your body is not functioning properly (ie why am I not producing enough progesterone) rather than just advocating putting progesterone in your body (although I am going to do that too).

I have wondered about Kevin, he eats so poorly and I can't get him to change anything. I told him that Im going to get him some vitamins. He told me he would take them. So I guess that is the next step. I honestly don't know how much more I can do. I know that I am fertile. I don't have too many issues getting pg, its staying pg that is the problem. Thing is we are on 6 months since the last miscarriage and I should be getting pg. I mean even if it was another miscarriage I should be getting pg. I remember after my second miscarriage it took quite a while, like 8 months. Maybe more I don't remember. So once I hit a year and still haven't gotten pg, I will go back to my dr. and see if I can go on clomid or get an SA for hubby, I don't know if he will do an SA though.
Oh well anything to try and get it to work right?
I read in my taking charge of your fertility book that some women take up to 800mg of b-6. Im currently taking 500. Im hoping that will help. Im also taking baby asprin, folic acid, pre nats and thats it. I will consider other stuff if I need too. I also take mucinex at ov time and use pre-seed with instead cups. Although I did learn in my book that if you have sperm friendly cm then the sperm will be guided that way without much laying around or need to keep the semen in place. I guess we shall see. Good luck my friend, you deserve this!!

-I defo don't see any harm in getting our men to take some vits! Even if their sperm is healtthy the vits will still help! I was saying to my hub yesterday how...for them...they only have that one thing to worry about (ie good sperm) and as they continuosly make new sperm lifestyle changes can fix problems in that area. But US? Well...we have to be healthy ALL over for us to not only get pregs but to carry a baby. Seems kinda unfair!

In TTC terms I guess 6mths isn't too bad yet. I think, maybe, your body will do better with the break for the next sticky bean?

How do you feel on that much B6? I read online that it was only safe upto 300mg and some sites say 200mg! Thats why I tried 300mg once to see if it would push my LP...but it didn't and I noticed much more tingling in my hands and legs so was too scared to do more, or 300 for longer? Thats why I was surprised to see a whopping 800mg in my book? Maybe more would have done the trick? But I am scared. I also read that you need to balance it by taking the other B-vits too?

OH yeah! My progesterone came (it was from Thailand according to the packaging, not U.S like I thought) so that was super fast! And means I got a guranteed good-length LP for two cycles.

Also...and I am a bit hmmm??? about this...but in my book it decribes ovulation as taking place about CD14 (as we know, just average estimate) but where other places talk about the 3 days BEFORE ovulation being the fertile time...this book describes the egg coming out on ovulation day and then travelling for upto three days to the fallopian tube where it THEN gets fertilised. Thats weird...cos thats like saying 3 days AFTER the initial ovulation is the key time??? Got me thinking though as usually as soon as I get my +opk and temp raise I lose interest in sex! maybe all this time we been missing out cos of b'ding before not right after ovulation????

Soooo....lots of ideas for this cycle! Crazy thing too...the one time I always said was a least preference for a baby-due-date was December but if I do get bfp with my progesterone this cycle or next thats what I'm gonna get! Typical! Although...at this point I no longer care about the 'when' of having a baby!
