In summary I have what is likely a sinus infection and bronchitis so I need to be seen for that and the baby has severe bronchitis again. She's been fighting respiratory illnesses for over two months now. If she's not sounding better in the morning (they put her on 4 meds) they're admitting her to the hospital.

Yikes...that sounds serious Anna. Hope everything goes alright.

As for me, things are pretty quiet. Working today, swimming tomorrow. No plans weekend outside of working.

I have told hub we are to b'd daily from tomorrow to friday though! lol. We'll see how that goes! I should ovulate between now and Monday and cos of my book I wanna make sure we DTD after as well as before this time! As I have progesterone to extend my cycle its our best chance yet! But...weekends are the hardest time for us to find time together (we both work and D's not at school) so I am worried about getting stressed out or mad at hub if he backs off and isn't 'in the mood'.

I am really happy and excited to be having a baby although knowing Im going it alone this time is a bit daunting and scary!

Heyho! Just updating that I got a + opk today. And a good proper one too, not a 'is it, isn't it' like my last two cycles.
We DTD yesterday and I want us to b'd everyday upto at least Wednesday but already I think hub's acting a bit iffy about doing it again so soon!
I'm determined though cos if I am using progesterone this cycle then I want the best chance ever! It seems almost impossible to think that it won't happen know I know I definitely ovulate ok and knowing my cycle is going to be right this month. How can the
million of swimmers not reach their goal??? But we'll see I guess.

(btw - I have got a new iPod that I can use now to come online so if this post looks different or funny it's cos of typing from this instead)

Hi ladies. I hope all is well. Jut thought I would update you on our situation. We are still not trying, but I never did go through with getting an IUD, and when we ran out of condoms we just decided not to buy anymore. So for now, we are NTNP, but to be honest, I don't have any hopes of getting pregnant anytime soon. I have no idea what CD I am on, when I O, or any of that. I have the day that AF should arrive marked in my dayplanner and if by some miracle she decides not to show I will wait a week and then test. No more early testing for me. It's strange to say that, but I mean it this time. I haven't POAS since..... December!!! I think I can officially say that my POAS addiction is in remission! lol

As for fostering..... thanks to lots and lots and lots of snow (we are approaching like 80something days with snow on the ground and still have more than a foot of it in some places) we missed our first class and had to reschedule. We are now planning to have that first session on March 9th *IF* the weather cooperates.

Hey Stef. Good to hear from you! I'm glad you didn't get the iud and I hope you and your hub feel much more destressed now your not officially ttc. O
I am positive you will get a surprise one day! Plus all the good you will do with fostering will be fulfilling. My mum had like a foster mum and even though she made amends with her real mum when she was older she always thought of her foster mums family as family too and she visited them right up until they died (both the hub and wife deceased now). And she still has some contact with the foster-mums sons as they are more like brothers to her than my mums real brothers.
